On May 20, the Cloud Launching Ceremony of the 8th China Charity Fair was held online, which is in the form of live broadcast. The Launching Ceremony introduces the highlights and preparations of the 8th China Charity Fair and has launched the important sections and activities such as the 8th China Charity Fair Exhibition, Contests and China International Philanthropic Movie Festival. According to the introduction, the 8th China Charity Fair will be held in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from September 18 to 20, for a period of 3 days.

At the same time, in order to further strengthen the industry linkage and build a cooperative platform of philanthropic ecology, the "All Star Plan" of China Charity Fair came into being. At the launching ceremony of the registration, the list of partners of the "All Star Plan" was officially announced in order to clear the blockage of the impact of the epidemic, grasp the key point of public welfare development, and work together to build a new ecology of the charity industry.

The China Charity Fair is another national major fair held in Shenzhen after the China Hi-tech Fair and China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair. Since its establishment in 2012, the fair has made active exploration in helping fight poverty and promoting the innovation and development of philanthropy.
According to statistics, the seven Charity Fairs have covered 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, attracting 9,064 institutions to participate in the fair, holding more than 1,400 kinds of public charity activities, nearly 1.19 million people patronized the fair, and 2,367 docking projects with a docking amount of 52.9 billion yuan. It has cultivated a large number of charitable organizations, public welfare projects and public welfare talents, showing the achievements of charity development in China.
