Bao'an venue of the 5th China Charity Fair debuted today

The 5th China Charity Fair (hereinafter referred to as “CCF”) was opened at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center today. Bao'an District is the only district-level administrative unit approved for the establishment of a sub-venue of over 1,000 square meters at the city and county (district) level. The venue attracted about 1,200 visitors on the day.

On the morning of September 23, the Bao'an Haiyu Community Branch held a donation ceremony for Bao'an District sponsored charity fund Project. The donation ceremony was hosted by the Civil Affairs Bureau of Bao'an District, Shenzhen and co-organized by Bao'an Art Academy. Gao Xiaobing, deputy minister of Civil Affairs, Yu Jianliang, director of the Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion, Meng Zhiqiang, deputy director of the Department of Social Welfare and Charity Promotion, Rao Meiyi, deputy director of the Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province, Tian Fu, member of the Standing Committee of Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Huang Min, secretary of Baoan District Committee and other leaders attended the donation ceremony, awarding certificates of honor to the representatives of calligraphers and painters who donated painting and calligraphy works and representatives of the titled charity fund.

A total of 11 named charity funds were established at this donation ceremony. The projects covered education, elderly assistance, charity and other aspects, with a total amount of RMB 4.8 million. A total of 24 calligraphers, painters and anonymous donors donated their works. As the mainstream of modern international charity fund operation, named charity fund is an important development direction of public charities in Bao'an District in recent years, which can lead the organic integration of outstanding achievements and business wisdom in China's economic development field with the construction of civic communities, and can enhance the management experience and competitive resources in corporate donation to participate in charity and public welfare. Previously, 22 named charity funds have been established in the district, raising a total of more than RMB 8 million to connect various charitable projects, effectively supporting the innovative development of charity in Bao'an District.
