On the morning of July 23, the Organizing Committee Office Meeting of the 6th CCF was held in Beijing. It was announced that the 6th CCF will be held in Shenzhen from September 20 to 22 this year, under the theme of "Focus on Poverty Alleviation and Create a Better Life".

Relevant leaders from the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Guangdong Provincial Government, the Shenzhen Municipal Government, the China Charity Alliance, the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office, and other organizers attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by GAO Xiaobing, Deputy Director of the Organizing Committee and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

HUANG Min, Deputy Director and Office Director of the Organizing Committee of CCF, Shenzhen Vice Mayor, introduced the overall program and progress of preparatory work for the 6th CCF. He mentioned  that, this year is the 40th year of reform and opening up, and also the 38th anniversary of the establishment of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. As a special zone of the whole country, the Special Administrative Region must have the big picture in mind, take the standard of "being at the forefront of the country", better play the role of radiation drive in the national chessboard, pay close attention to the implementation, and do a good job of hosting the 6th CCF with an attitude of excellence.

At the meeting, HONG Tianyun, Deputy Director of the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office, gave guidance on how to deeply study and understand Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, how to implement the deployment and requirements of precise poverty alleviation and eradication at the CCF, and how to do a good job in precisely matching charitable resources with extremely poverty-stricken areas and the poor population with "established files and cards", and expressed his intention to provide full support for the CCF. Relevant comrades from the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Guangdong Provincial Government and the China Charity Federation also made statements.

The meeting studied, considered and adopted in principle the Overall Plan of the 6th CCF. In addition, the organizers affirmed the overall plan and exhibition thoughts of the 6th CCF, and considered that the preparatory work shall conscientiously implement the spirit of the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, adapt to the new situation, aim at new goals, center on the theme of "focus on poverty alleviation and create a better life", and effectively carry out the responsibility of poverty alleviation with a high sense of political responsibility and historical mission, so as to shoulder the responsibility of poverty alleviation and achieve a new leap.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, GAO Xiaobing fully affirmed the overall effectiveness of the past five CCF and the preparatory work for the 6th session. He emphasized that the organizers and contractors should unify their thoughts and actions to the important strategic thought of poverty alleviation and development of General Secretary Xi Jinping, comprehensively implement the socialist thought of Xi Jinping for a new era and the spirit of the 19th Party Congress, closely concentrate on the exhibition theme of "focus on poverty alleviation and create a better life", highlight the importance of the exhibition, and promote the development of poverty alleviation, and leverage the active role of CCF in helping poverty alleviation and building a "trinity" of special poverty alleviation, industry poverty alleviation and social poverty alleviation.

GAO stated that the 6th CCF should put in all efforts and make real punches, promote the theme, resource docking, seminars in the sections of the exhibition, competition, conference with higher standards and stricter requirements, and ensure precise and efficient docking of poverty alleviation objects, projects and other links, so as to make the projects really land and grasp the reality. In addition, the exhibited projects should adhere to the priority of quality and effectively assist the real poor, really assist the poor, really get rid of poverty. What's more, the organizers should make every effort to ensure that the tasks are completed on time and in quality and quantity, strive to run a really precise poverty alleviation with a new look, and make a new and greater contribution to winning the battle against poverty and building a moderately prosperous society.
