Carrying On the Journey
The 10th CCF enjoys four distinctive highlights
On the afternoon of August 25th, the Information Office of Shenzhen Municipal Government held a press conference for the 10th CCF. ZHU Wu, Deputy Director of the CCF Organizing Committee Office and Deputy Secretary General of Shenzhen Municipal Government, introduced the distinctive highlights of the 10th CCF. YANG Haobo, a member of the Organizing Committee Office and Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Civil Affairs Bureau, ZHAN Hui, Deputy District Mayor of Luohu District, and TANG Yaming, Deputy Editor in Chief of Shenzhen Newspaper Group, attended the press conference and answered questions from reporters, meanwhile, WU Yun, Deputy Minister of the Propaganda Department of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Information Office of Shenzhen Municipal Government, presided over the press conference.
For the first time, the CCF has introduced the exhibition industry into the field of public welfare charity, opening up a new path for charity development through the exhibition in the form of open sharing and win-win cooperation, thus filling a major gap in the field of charity in China. Since its establishment in 2012, it has been successfully held for nine sessions, making active explorations in assisting poverty alleviation, rural revitalization, and promoting innovative development of charity.
Zhu Wu introduced that the 10th CCF will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (National Rural Revitalization Bureau), the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Red Cross Society of China, the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, the Guangdong Provincial Government, the Shenzhen Municipal Government, and the China Charity Alliance, under the theme of “Building Modern Charity, Gathering Efforts for High-Quality Development”. Compared to previous sessions, the 10th CCF enjoys the following four distinctive highlights:
Firstly, focusing on people's well-being and promoting high-quality development. It extends from showcasing and exchanging charity projects to concentrating on the development of the people's livelihood service industry, and focuses on presenting innovative practices and effective models of collaborative progress between diverse fields of charity and society, thus aiming to build itself into a comprehensive exhibition that integrates charity projects, social service products, and technological innovation application scenarios.
Secondly, achieving "diversity in one exhibition" and building a new pattern of charitable development. It has set up two pavilions: the Charity High Quality Development Achievement Pavilion and the Good Life Experience Pavilion, to present the innovative achievements of social forces in participating in ensuring and improving people's well-being, and promoting the development of social undertakings. In addition, it has also launched the "1+10+N" conference system that focuses on hot issues in the development of China's philanthropy, such as social service and tech for social good, through a series of activities including one thematic seminar, 10 sub-topic seminars, and 17 community roundtables activities. In terms of resource matching, in addition to branded projects such as United Way Project and major resource signing and docking, a series of themed activities such as innovative case conference and application scenario observation and experience in the field of tech for social good will be held to further expand the charity scope of scientific innovation application. In terms of supporting activities, it will continue to hold branded activities such as China Charity Image Festival and TIFP New Power for Public Welfare Program, and carry out a series of diverse and colorful interactive experience activities to stimulate public participation in charity and promote charity culture in the whole society.
Thirdly, adhering to innovation leadership and setting a new benchmark for charity exhibitions. It has highlighted low-carbon exhibition and adhered to green exhibition layout and visits, so as to build a near-zero carbon exhibition, and has set up a special ecological public welfare exhibition area, focusing on the exhibition of excellent projects and institutions in the field of ecological environmental protection; highlighted the international exhibition, and fully leverage the role of the charity exhibition as a platform for promoting international exchanges and dialogue in the charity field; and highlighted the digital transformation, continuing to provide exhibitors with all kinds of online display and docking services, so as to realize a "never ending CCF".
Fourthly, continuing the journey of ten sessions and writing the era's respondents with special planning. It aims to take the 10th session as an opportunity to launch a series of special plans such as the 10th Tribute Ceremony and the 10th Special Exhibition to provide the public with a better overview of the cutting-edge trends and fruitful achievements in the development of the charity industry.

By expanding the form of public welfare culture, creating a bright and wonderful "charity + culture" atmosphere, it aims to attract and drive more social forces to participate in public welfare charity. What’s more, ten interactive experience points are set to enhance the interactivity and interest of the exhibition, so that the public can understand and participate in public welfare more easily, more interesting and more immersive, thus providing more diversified new public welfare experiences for the public. Tech for the Good
The China Charity Image Festival uses AI to show the power of love
The 10th CCF has set up 10 sub-venues, focusing on showing Shenzhen's excellent achievements and characteristic projects in Party building leading grassroots community governance and livelihood services, and actively promoting exchanges and interactions between Shenzhen and other places in the field of livelihood services. Among them, the Yucun Community Party and Mass Service Center of Nanhu Street in Luohu District is the first community Party and Mass Service Center in Shenzhen that integrates multiple functions, including "Party building + government service + medical care integration + cultural education", with which residents can enjoy high-quality public services at their doorstep; and Shuibei Community of Cuizhu Street, relying on Shuangbai Social Work Service Site, fully integrates the strength of social workers, volunteers and social organizations, actively links old-age care, medical care, education, administrative services, and caring enterprises in the area to create a "one platform and four centers" charity service resource base, and innovatively forms a "charity + social worker + social organization" diversified social assistance service model.
ZHAN Hui said that Shenzhen is a "city of charity" and Luohu has always adhered to the concept of "great love in Luohu" and sincerely welcomes friends from all over the country to visit and exchange in Luohu.
As one of the important activities of the Charity Exhibition, the China Charity Image Festival continues to "debut" this year, based on the "New Decade • New Starting Point", and will hold a series of activities such as holding the Charity Image Competition and Award Ceremony, building a charity image museum, and publishing a research report on the status of China's charity image.
TANG Yaming stated that this year's Image Festival will focus on exploring the public welfare elements of tech for the good. For the first time, public welfare short films created using AI tools have been solicited from all sectors of society, and the Best Animated Short Film Award has been newly established to encourage more diverse forms of public welfare images. At the same time, a series of public welfare reflection courses will be offered to explore more new forces involved in public welfare among young people. As of July 20th, over 600 public welfare short films have been collected, covering all provinces, cities, autonomous regions, as well as Hong Kong and Macau for the first time.
The Charity Image Competition will hold an award ceremony during the exhibition on September 16th, inviting a group of well-known figures, such as YANG Ziye, from the film and television industry and the charity industry to participate.
